Real Stories from Real Swim Families

  • Meghan Porter

“We are so thankful for Mrs. Molly! As parents we spend so much money on toys, extra clothes, new gadgets, gaming devices or other electronics... the least we could do is spend our money on something that will keep them SAFE. No time better than now to prepare your kiddo for summer, or just life in general. Could fall into a pond, creek, or any body of water and the one thing that fills my heart is knowing Malakai can make a huge effort to save his own life while help arrives. That's a gift you can't really put a price on. Malakai is so proud of himself and wanted me to share this video, it's about 4-5 minutes but super helpful to understand what he had to do to graduate. He swam in sweat pants and sweat shirt and shoes before they floated away!”

And just like that, we have a swimmer! In just six weeks, Emma has gone from being afraid of water in her face to confidently swimming on her own. Best of all, if she were to fall into a pool fully clothed, she could get herself to safety! I can't recommend Ms. Molly enough-she has been absolutely amazing with Emma! Over the last 6-7 weeks this boy has put in the work, Lucas graduated from swim class tonight. He conquered many fears (underwater, jumping in the pool, swimming with clothes, being flipped upside down, and floating in his back) and genuinely was ready to learn. I couldn't be prouder for the 1:1 lessons, time dedicated to helping him master his skills and for his confidence to soar! Thank you so much, Survival Swim Molly Brooks!!

Six weeks of Survival Swim with Miss Molly, and we have a swimming girl! Sadie James has been a lover of water since birth, but we could actually see her confidence grow with each day into week that went by. We all learned so much and couldn't recommend investing into lessons with Miss Molly enough to any family with kiddos!

Our lessons are held in 12-minute sessions, four days a week. You will have an assigned time for your lesson that you will keep throughout your session.

Each session is tailored to your child’s unique needs and abilities, with the overall program designed to help most children complete it within 4 to 6 weeks.

MEET MOLLY

Over 20 years ago, I became a mom and did everything to protect my daughter. I bought the safest gear, got CPR certified, and child-proofed everything… but I didn’t realize I could give her the power to protect herself.

That changed when I discovered survival swim lessons. They gave my daughter life-saving skills, and later, my twins too. After seeing the impact firsthand, I became a Certified Survival Swim Instructor in 2013 to bring that same peace of mind to other families.

Since then, I’ve taught over 2,000 children in Louisville, KY, using an individualized approach that puts your child’s safety and confidence first. I love what I do, and I care deeply about the connections I build with every family. My mission? To help your child feel safe, empowered, and seen, always.
